When I saw you sitting there,
Glamour written everywhere
The way you laugh, the way your hair
Caught my eye,
And how you dress with so much style,
You must have known you drove me wild,
And though I've walked a million miles,
Couldn't walk on by
So I sat down and asked your name
Had to be in your game
And I'd never be the same
So...
Give me, give me more of your love
I can't get enough
Give me what I can't resist
You know how to make me smile
You make it all worthwhile
So come and give me one more kiss,
And show me what I've missed.
It might be something in your eyes
I can't explain what there lies,
But how they shine I realize
what I have to do
There's no doubt you are the best
You put my body to the test
I lately have no need for rest,
Just more of you
To grab you tightly by the hips,
Touch you with my fingertips,
Pull you close and taste your lips,
So give me, give me more of your love
I can't get enough
You brought me to my knees
You're more than any other girl
You really rock my world
So now I'm begging please,
Give me give me more of your love
I can't get enough
Give me what I can't resist
You know how to make me smile
You make it all worthwhile.
So won't you give me one more kiss
And show me what I've missed

Darling you shine like sunshine (Song)
Darling you shine like sunshine
And I'm fine because you're mine
Darlin' you glow like moon glow
And I know I love you so.
Darlin', when we first met I
Knew I needed you in my life
You gave me something, what I always wanted
What I knew I needed to have in my wife
How I need to be this close
I'm in your body; you're in my soul
And I complete you; you give me hope
And I fulfill you; you make me whole
Bodies entwining, love refining
Hold me tight and don't let go
Exchange of breath, exchange of touch
How we belong they'll never know
You know I need you, can't deny you
Long to feel you deep within you
And how you need me to pull you to me
And how that feeling
Just goes right through me
And how you told me that there's no other
That there could never be another lover
Who could reach you that place that I do
Make you feel the way you want to
Now this longing knows no bounds
How it consumes me, takes my heart
You give me meaning; I'm your purpose
How I'd perish if we part
And all I am and all I have
Is yours, that we two may be one
I couldn't see what we'd begun
Or how we'd fit, what we'd become
Darlin' you shine, like sunshine
And I'm fine because you're mine
Darlin' you glow like moonglow
And I know I love you so.
And I'm fine because you're mine
Darlin' you glow like moon glow
And I know I love you so.
Darlin', when we first met I

Inspiration
The writer sat there, at the table,
Late one Winter’s night
Looking about him, scratching his head,
But no idea was in sight.
He fidgeted with his fingers.
He twisted in his chair.
No words or thoughts would come to him
As he sat and twirled his hair.
Despite the writer’s restlessness
And the sleepiness he fought,
He could not fathom what to say,
The poetry that he sought.
He scribbled a few words here.
A line he added there.
He could not seem to conjure much
But he suddenly did not care.
For it had just occurred to him
That what he wrote was fine.
Inspiration comes to some of us
One line at a time.

The Last
I am the last man on the earth,
Third planet from the sun,
With the one and only testimony
Of Father Time undone.
I recall the dreadful day
When the people gathered ‘round.
The folks began to drink and play,
And then there came a sound-
A tremble that was loud as hell;
It shook apart the ground.
My only escape was a well
That I just happened to have found.
What happened next, more gruesome still.
Fire poured down from the sky.
It fell and fell to the ground until
The end of us was nigh.
The result of which, the earth blew up,
An atomic blast of sorts.
It scared the life out of me ‘til
I nearly wet my shorts.
Now I sit upon a crescent
Out in the midst of space,
With a tired, frustrated look
Of boredom on my face.

The Lad Ted
Once there was a lad named Ted.
No one knew, but he was dead.
His corpse would rot and rot each day.
Townsmen only saw him from far away.
Each day his stench got worse and worse
And neighbors started to disburse.
No one knew that it was Ted,
For no one knew poor Ted was dead.
Friends waved as they saw him every day,
For he always sat there anyway-
At the corner of his house, in his wooden chair,
And for hours on end, he just sat there;
Sat there under his window sill,
Sat and sat, always still.
Then one day a neighbor saw
That birds were pecking at Ted’s jaw.
So he came running to the place
As the fowls attacked poor Ted’s face.
He grabbed the hose and sprayed at Ted,
And washed the skin right off his head.
And when he saw that Ted was fodder,
He said, “What on Earth is in this water?!”
